Manufacturer: Futaba Number of Channels: 6 Band (72mhzFM, etc): 72mhz FM Range (full or number of ft): 650 ft Power Requirements: 10ma Warranty: 1 year Includes or requires a crystal: requires seperate crystal Weight: 10.2grams Length: 1.3" Width: 0.8" Height: 0.5" Features and/or Special Considerations Narrow-band spacing and superior signal filtering combine to provide exceptionally clear, interference-free reception and amazingly smooth, accurate control Perfect for Park or Slow Flyers Range of approximately 650 feet (200m) This covers the complete 72MHz band One year warranty I originally started out with the R114F 4 channel receiver and had a lot of luck with it. Since I'm getting into more advanced airplanes, it was important to me to have at least 6 channels so that I could do things like spoilerons and flaperons. I now own 3 of these receivers. I use one in my U-Can-Do Ep, Wattage Pitts, and E-Flite Edge 320. For all three planes, this receiver works very well. The range is fantastic, the glitches are far and few between. The range checks are fantastic too. I've used GWS 6 channel receivers and they don't range check well, glitch like crazy, etc, but this futaba receiver has served me very well. So overall I'm pretty happy with it. It is about the same weight as the four channel and provides me a nice 6 channel set of functionality. The only real note is that you should keep the antenna away from any servo wires. I had this weird thing where I tie-wrapped the antenna to the servo wires and I had it glitch a few times while flying. Servos would twitch, the range check was weak, etc. |
